This metal bearing housing is a very good upgrade to the Big Lama. Once I installed it I did not believe it could make such a difference. I actually took another later for my second Big Lama (don`t ask why, the price is very good and the shop excellent, so I said I had to buy one more to mod it a lot). It makes the inner shaft running smoother, with less vibrations.
